29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: a) County Road 50, Ozark AL; On or about January 19, 2016 and at times prior thereto the controlling employer Ronnie Blackmon Contracting Inc. failed to ensure its sub-contractor Kevin Clarke protected its employees from fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work on a roof that was 21 feet above the ground and the roof was sloped 4 on 12 without being protected from falling by a guardrail system with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
