29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(vii): Where practicable, combustible materials were not relocated at least 35 feet (10.7 m) from the cutting or welding operation work site or if relocation of combustible materials was impractical were not protected with flame proofed covers or otherwise shielded with metal or asbestos guards or curtains: On or about January 22, 2016, and at times prior thereto, in the welding area employees were permitted to perform welding and cutting operation within 35 feet from combustible materials without flame proofed protection provided. The employees were exposed to fire hazard.
