29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees hands were exposed to hazardous condition(s):   Worksite located at 7410 S MacArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73169. On or about January 26, 2016 and at times prior thereto, employees conducting cell shakedowns and inmate pat downs were not provided with puncture resistant gloves. Employees were exposed to cuts, needle sticks, and other sharp object hazards.   The Federal Bureau of Prisons was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.138 (a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 991369, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on October 22, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 11070 Highway 14, Aliceville, AL35442.   The Federal Bureau of Prisons was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.138 (a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 962553, citation number 01, item number 4a and was affirmed as a final order on August 08, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 101 Federal Drive, Welch, WV 24801.
