29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems were not rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level: a) On or about January 19, 2016 and at times prior thereto, the controlling employer did not ensure that its subcontractor, Performance Systems Inc., in that its employees were exposed to fall heights of up to 12 feet while working in an areal lift with a lanyard that would allow them to strike the next lower level during a fall. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
