29 CFR 1926.300(b)(2): Moving part(s) of equipment exposed to contact by employees or which otherwise created a hazard, were not guarded. On the east side of the construction site, the employer did not ensure that the belt and pulley of the Rolair-air compressor was guarded exposing employees to caught-in hazards.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On the east side of the construction site, employees operating a Rolair-air compressor with the outer sheathing pulled away from the strain relief device on the power cord were exposed to electrical hazards.
