Emergency exit light over the exit door in the employees break room.  2. Emergency exit light over the exit door in the production area leading to the break room.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:    On or about 1/28/2016 in the press and lathe production area at 362 Industrial Park Drive in Lawrenceville, GA:   Where authorized employees were performing setup, repairs, service and maintenance on the lathe and press equipment, the employer did not ensure the companies procedures were followed and utilized to protect the employees from crushing hazards and rotating parts.   On 1/22/2016 an employee was injured after setting up the lathe with another employee and not utilizing the specific written energy control procedures developed by the employer to protect the employees from equipment startup

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    On or about 1/22/2016 at the lathe machine at 362 Industrial Park Drive in Lawrenceville, GA:  Employees operating a lathe at speeds up to 400 rpms and employees walking on the side of the lathe with the rotating roller were not protected from the unguarded rotating parts. The employee operating the lathe on 1/22/2016 to sand/polish the metal roller was injured.
