29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): On or about January 26, 2016, and times prior thereto, employees working with the styrofoam winding machines are required to place a core on the winder while holding and balancing the core. The employees are then required to activate the pneumatic winder spindle/chuck to tighten the core into place, exposing the employees to the hazard of being caught between the core and the winder spindle.
