29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a) on or about January 20, 2016 at 6427 Airport Blvd, Mobile, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees working on a 4:12 pitch roof conducting renovation work were properly protected from fall of 19 feet due to having too much slack in their personal fall arrest system (rope / rope grab).
