29 CFR 1910.22(b)(1): Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances shall be allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways shall be kept clear and in good repairs, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. a- Bruce Supply Corporation, Keasbey, NJ - Warehouse: Aisles and passageways were blocked with pallets and product. Two outer aisles along the south west wall of the warehouse, where mechanical handling equipment is used, were completely blocked with pallets of product. All but the 3 main aisles of the warehouse had merchandise and other material obstruction across or in the aisle. Observed on/or about 2/2/2016.

No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. a -Bruce Supply Corporation, Keasbey, NJ: Warehouse: The fire exit route in South West corner of the warehouse was blocked by pallets of merchandise and other materials, impeding access, in case of fire or other emergency, to the emergency exit door. Condition observed on or about 2/2/2016.
