29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. Workers were engaged in residential construction activities framing a single-family house. Workers were observed installing wooden sheeting material on the upper deck/roof area, exposed to potential fall hazards between 12.0 and 20.0 feet in that frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, materials, and equipment was not conducted by a competent person to identify unsafe conditions and to initiate corrective actions.
