29 CFR 1910.252(a)(1)(i): When the object to be welded or cut could not be readily moved, all movable fire hazards in the vicinity were not taken to a safe place: Resin System area: On 02/01/2016 welding was conducted on broken parts of a resin line where combustible materials such as resin bath were not relocated to a safe area. A fire started where welding sparks fell on the resin bath which was located approximately 8 1/2 inches from the welding spot. Measurement was taken on February 03, 2016.

On 02/01/2016 there was a fire when welding was conducted approximately 8 1/2 inches from combustible resin bath without a hot work permit system in place spelling out what procedures to follow or measures to implement.
