29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 2/04/2016, employees from Kendall Home Remodeling were removing shingles and roofing felt from a roof of a two story residential building located at 204 Tanner Drive in Wentzville MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The owner and four employees were observed on the roof of the building, approximately sixteen to twenty feet above the ground, without fall protection.
