29 CFR 1910.36(g)(1): The ceiling of an exit route was not at least seven feet six inches (2.3 m) high and/or any projection from the ceiling reached a point less than six feet eight inches (2.0 m) from the floor: a) At the facility, on or about and at times prior to, February 2, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from struck-by and laceration hazards in that adequate headroom was not provided along the following egress routes; 1. North side of Re-Kill area before the chicken necks were cut, the conveyor rail was only 4 feet above the floor. 2. East end of Re-Kill area, the opening under the moving conveyor where the chicken was transported after de-head was 5 feet above the floor. 3. South conveyor line near the Re-Kill area, the opening under the moving conveyor where the chicken is transported after de-head was 5 feet above the floor.
