OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to unguarded rotating parts: a) On or about 01/26/2016 - 17550 Highway 11 Lot 37, Vance, AL, an employee operating a Milwaukee heavy duty diamond coring drill with unguarded rotating parts was wearing bulky clothing while working in close proximity to the rotating bit. The employee reached down to remove the drilled out concrete and got too close to the rotating drill bit and was caught in the bit.
