29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) On or about February 5, 2016, and at times prior, Esprit Homes, as the controlling employer, did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite so as to ensure that employees of White Roofing, Inc., a subcontractor, who were required to engage in roofing and gutter installation operations, were appropriately protected from fall hazards. Employees of White Roofing, Inc. were exposed to fall hazards of up to 15 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
