29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) I-75 N. (Bridge #14) at Terrell Mill Road: On or about February 8, 2016, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 11 feet between the roadway and the new bridge deck, in that guardrails were removed in areas where employees were performing concrete finishing work.
