29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8 m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 2/10/16 at a renovation project located at 560 Broadway, New York, New York; employees were using future "elevator shaft B" as a hoist way to raise and lower steel beams and columns with a chain fall. The employees were not protected from falling approximately 20 feet to the next fully planked level while working from platforms that were not fully planked. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
