This exposed employees to a struck by hazard. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(i): When a powered industrial truck is left unattended, load engaging means shall be fully lowered, controls shall be neutralized, power shall be shut off, and brakes set. Wheels shall be blocked if the truck is parked on an incline.  On or about 03 February 2016 powered industrial trucks were left unattended without the controls being  neutralized. Untrained employees had access to operate the powered pallet jacks. This exposed employees to a struck by hazard.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
