29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At the job site, on the second floor of a three story residential framed house, on February 17, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees performing framing work at the edge of the second floor, which measured twenty feet in height from the ground level, were protected from fall hazards by a safety system such as, but not limited to a personal fall arrest system, exposing the employees to the hazards associated with death, broken bones, sprains, lacerations, and bruises.
