The violation read as follows:    29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a. At the mixing station where employees mixed bags of mortar containing Portland cement, facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with Portland cement.    b. At the scaffold where employees were using mortar containing Portland cement, facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with Portland cement.    b.  In regards to citation 1, item 2, issued on February 25, 2016, the employer has failed to submit abatement certification within ten days of the abatement date, March 8, 2016.  The violation read as follows:     29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer shall provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application of paints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees. Such facilities shall be in near proximity to the worksite and shall be so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances:    a. At the worksite where employees mixed mortar containing Portland cement, washing facilities to include clean water, non-alkaline soap, and towels were not provided, thereby exposing the employees to chemical contact hazards.    b. At the worksite where employees installed brick siding to the exterior of the building with mortar containing Portland cement, washing facilities to include clean water, non-alkaline soap, and towels were not provided, thereby exposing the employees to chemical contact hazards.
