29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created: On or about February 17, 2016, at the north end of the facility the employer did not ensure that proper machine guards were in place on the mill machine and pedestal drill: a) Ibarmia Pedestal Drill, has no point of operation fence/guards in place to protect the user from the rotating drill bit. b) Jet Mill Machine, has no point of operation fence/guards in place to protect the user from the rotating drill bit.
