29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1)(ii): Safety of equipment was not determined on the basis of mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided: At the jobsite located at 15929 Melrose Street in Overland Park, Kansas: Employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to an electrical shock hazard. 110 VAC energized conductors were housed in two, four gang boxes on extension cords. The boxes were not designed for this use. Conductors were exposed as holes in the boxes were covered with tape.
