29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from eye and face hazards: Nisshinbo Automotive Manufacturing, Covington, GA - Employees were exposed to eye and face splash hazards. Employees were spraying molds with mold release (Orisol C-101) and the employer did not require safety goggles and/or face shields. The chemical splashed into an employee's face, and the employer did not adequately evaluate the personal protective equipment required, on or about February 18, 2016.
