29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: (a) On or about February 24, 2016, employees were exposed to possible fire hazards in that access to a fire extinguisher mounted on the west wall of the shop, toward the south end, was blocked by a shop desk with a backboard. Abatement certification is required for this item. Use the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet for this purpose.
