29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed.  a. On or About March 01, 2016, employees of Concentric Rockford were required to perform servicing and maintenance tasks while utilizing lockout/tagout procedures on production machinery on a regular basis.  The employer failed to ensure that all procedures utilized by the employees were reviewed at least annually, as required by this standard.  Employees were thereby exposed to hazards associated with the un-expected re-energization of equipment.  Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
