29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard was introduced into their work area: On or about 2/1/16, employees were exposed to mercury from the breaking of fluorescent lightbulbs and disposal in the regular trash and the employer did not provide the employees with effective information and training on mercury. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
