OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazard:    On or about March 3, 2016, employees were exposed to crushing hazards when lifting loads with a 20 ton P&H double girder crane (SN#42297), located in the Manufacturing Area SW bay.  The crane was equipped with a damaged wire rope, in that it had more than twelve randomly distributed broken wires in one lay of the rope.  Additionally, the wire rope had at least four broken wires in one strand in one lay of the rope.
