29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. Worksite, 129 Littleton Ave., Newark, NJ Employees performing steel erection were not protected from falling approximately 30 feet 2 inches when exiting a jlg lift placed at the edge of the 3rd floor under construction. Violation observed on or about 2-23-16 Eastern Shore Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1,) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315826875, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3-16-12, with respect to a workplace located at County Rd 571, Princeton, NJ 08540.
