29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use.  On the north side of the construction site, employees standing on a wooden platform installing cornice material were elevated by JLG forklift that was not approved by the forklift manufacturer and exposed to fall, struck-by, and crushed-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Section 603(e) of American National Standard Institute, B56.1-1969 Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks, as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): When a truck was left unattended, load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls were not neutralized, power was not shut off, brakes were not set, and the key or connector plug was not removed.  On the north side of the construction site, the employer left the JLG forklift with the forks elevated and employees standing on a wooden platform unattended while installing Cornice material on a commercial building exposing them to fall and struck by hazards.
