29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure: a) Facility: The employer did not utilize engineering controls to minimize employees' exposure when recapping and removing needles from reusable syringes, On or about 2/17/16. The Turner-Wood Dental, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1030(d)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1050712, Citation number 1, Item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/27/15, with respect to a workplace located at 500 Mullica Road Glassboro, NJ 08003. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
