29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Southwest side, on or about March 8, 2016, employee without fall protection was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the unpaved ground below, while not having fall protection when installing metal trusses on a building.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Southwest side, on or about March 8, 2016, employees without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet in height to the unpaved ground level below, while installing metal trusses on a building and not being trained on the procedures to recognize fall hazards.
