Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees operating under-slung hoists:    On or about March 9, 2016, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck by hazards during the operation of under-slung hoists with the following deficiencies:    a) Under-slung hoist 1 in the shop had a broken safety latch at the lifting hook.      b) Under-slung hoist  2 in the shop was missing the safety latch at the lifting hook.      c) Inspections were not conducted on under-slung hoists 1 and 2.
