29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On the Townhouse Roof - On or about March 10, 2016, employees, installing roofing material on a 1:12 pitch roof, were not protected from a fall hazard of 34.9 feet onto a concrete sidewalk by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. b) On the Townhouse Awning Roof - On or about March 10, 2016, an employee, transporting roofing material to a 2:12 pitch roof, was not protected from a fall hazard of 13.8 feet onto a concrete sidewalk by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
