29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Worksite: The employer did not ensure that the employees working on the steep roof of the commercial building under construction were protected from the hazard of falling more than six feet to the ground by the use of guardrails, safety nets or personal fall arrest systems. Michaels Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 940787, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 10/28/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 310 Charter Oak St., Manchester, CT and became a final order on 12/3/2013.
