29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Oak St., Lakewood, NJ: On or about March 11, 2016, two Regedor Construction Corp. employees were setting block for the third story exterior wall of a large commercial style building. The employees were not using any form of fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 30 feet to the ground below.
