29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): Frequent inspections of the cranes were not performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(a) of this section or as specifically indicated: On or about March 17, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that frequent inspections were performed on the the Shawbox 5 ton overhead crane. Daily to monthly inspections were not performed. An annual inspection was performed by a third party vendor. No deficiencies were noted during the inspection.
