OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:    (a)   On or about March 4th, 2016 for the employee who suffered burn injuries from 180 degree Fahrenheit hot water while attempting to clear a clogged drain with compressed air attached to a hose in Whapeton, North Dakota.      Abatement Note: Among other methods, one feasible & acceptable method to correct this violation would be to implement a procedure where a protective device installed on or around the floor drain while attempting to clear clogs in the floor drain.
