29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about March 16, 2016, CSHO observed four employees stripping and preparing a low slope 2;12 pitch, two story residential roof of old roofing to accept a new standing seam metal roof, and were not protected from falls in excess of 20 feet to the concrete slab below because they were not protected by any means of personal fall protection harnesses, guardrails, or safety nets.
