(a)    On or about 11/22/2016, the employer failed to submit documentation and certification of corrective action for citation 1, item 1 issued on 06/13/2016 with an abatement due date of 07/08/2016.  (b)    On or about 11/22/2016, the employer failed to submit documentation and certification of corrective action for citation 1, item 2 issued on 06/13/2016 with an abatement due date of 07/08/2016.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  On or about February 22, 2016:  a) Employees using pneumatic nail guns to install framing material to a new residential were exposed to eye injuries, when the employer failed to ensure that each employee was wearing proper eye protection while performing framing tasks.    Jose Cruz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1018983, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2015 , with respect to a workplace located at lot 40 Thompson Crossing Buford, GA.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about March 9, 2106:  a)  An Employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet to the floor below, while installing blocking material located in the rafter section of the second floor, when the employer failed to ensure that the employee was properly protected from the hazard by fall protection means.  b) Employees working on the second floor of a new residential structure under construction were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12.7 feet to the outside ground below when the employer failed to ensure that the employees were protected by guardrails or other means.    Jose Cruz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1018983, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 40 in Thompson Crossing subdivision located in Buford, GA.
