29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a)  A Mazak Super Turbo-X510 MkII CNC laser cutting machine located in the production room did not have effective guarding to prevent employees from entering the danger area created by the traverser as it brought product from the laser to the product table, exposing them to crushed by hazards.    (b)  A Wilton Model 2380 auto-feeding drill press located in the production room was not equipped with guarding to prevent employee access to the rotating parts and chips created by the chuck and drill bit.      (c)  A Clausing 20 auto-feeding drill press located in the production room was not equipped with guarding to prevent employee access to the rotating parts and chips created by the chuck and drill bit.    (d)  A manually operated Enco Milling machine located in the production room did not have the drive belt and pulley guarded to prevent employees from accessing the ingoing nip points and rotating parts.      (e)  A New England Butt Co. BIO-32H braiding machine located in the production room did not have adequate guarding to prevent employee access to the pinch points created by the thread and the rotating spools.
