29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: Location: Kitchen Employees were exposed to chemical burns to the eyes and face from spraying Greasecutter Plus, a caustic oven cleaner product containing sodium hydroxide, and the employer did not ensure that each employee consistently wore proper eye and face protection, including goggles and a face shield.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Location: Kitchen Employees were exposed to chemical burns to the eyes and face from spraying and dipping corrosive chemicals, and the employer did not provide translational services to all employees who could not speak English. Other employees were not aware of what to do in case of an emergency involving inadvertent exposure to the skin or eyes. 1) Oasis 146 Multi-Quat Sanitizer: Corrosive to eyes and skin 2) Greasecutter Plus: Corrosive to eyes and skin
