29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about March 21, 2016, Capital Roofing & Restoration, as the controlling employer, did not ensure that the employees of Hector Cervantes, subcontractor, were safe from health and safety hazards. The employees were exposed to injuries from falls approximately 12.0 feet while engaged in roofing activities. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
