29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Jobsite - On or about March 29, 2016 employees were preparing to install fiberglass shingles on a 8/12 pitch roof without a lifeline attached to their safety harness. The employees were exposed to a fall height of 9 feet.
