29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62m) of lateral travel for employees: On or about April 4, 2016, in an undeveloped field of the Wedgewood Falls Subdivision near Parnevik Pl. and Faldo Dr., employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard when repairing a leaking 8-inch water line in an excavation exceeding four feet in depth without a ladder or other safe means of egress located in the excavation. CE BARKER, LTD WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.651(C)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315722041, CITATION NUMBER 1 ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 20, 2011 WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF DECEMBER 27, 2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT SITE 11 MAR BELLA SUBDIVISION, LEAGUE CITY, TX 77573.
