29 CFR 1926.602(a)(9)(ii): The employer permitted earthmoving or compacting equipment which had an obstructed view to the rear to be used in reverse gear where the equipment did not have a working reverse signal alarm distinguishable from the surrounding noise level or an employee signaled that it was safe to do so: a) Job site, at/near 926 Elmhurst Way, Sewickley, PA: On or about April 6, 2016, during construction activities, the employer did not ensure that the track driven Bobcat brand skid steer unit, serial number A3LL11012, had a working backup alarm or that a spotter/person acting as a signaler was in use when the unit was operated in reverse.
