29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration:; Such activities were not performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person. a- Elevator Shaft 2, 135 Brick Boulevard, Brick Township NJ - On or about 02/17/16 company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when the active walking/working surface of the supported scaffold was not supplied with guarding for the scaffold's endframes and the scaffold was missing mid rails. This scaffold had not been erected and dismantled under the direction and supervision of a competent person. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
