29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: 95 Coles St., Jersey City, NJ. a.) Employees walked and/or worked near an unprotected edge while building/forming a stairway that had an unprotected edge and employees were not provided personal fall arrest systems, there-by exposing employees to fall hazards of greater than 6ft to the floor below; on or about 3/25/16.
