29 CFR 1926.55(a): Employee(s) were exposed to material(s) at concentrations above those specified in the Threshold Limit Values of Airborne Contaminants for 1970 of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists: (a) Weidner Construction Services, LLC - The employee operating the Diamond Products Model CC1213HS propane powered concrete saw, Serial Number 140582, to cut slots in the concrete floor was exposed to an Eight Hour Time Weighted Average (TWA8) of carbon monoxide at 102 Parts Per Million (PPM). This exposure was approximately 2 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 PPM. The exposure was calculated from the employee's blood carboxyhemoglobin level on April 12, 2016.

29 CFR 1926.55(b): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not implemented to reduce employee exposure(s): (a) Weidner Construction Services, LLC - The employer did not ensure that the ventilation used to control the carbon monoxide fumes from the Diamond Products Model CC1213HS propane powered concrete saw, Serial Number 140582, being used to cut slots in the concrete floor was adequate thus, exposed the employee to carbon monoxide at 102 Parts Per Million (PPM), on or about April 12, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
