29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 15 N Conceptions Street, Mobile Alabama, North Wall: On or about April 12, 2016 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 43 feet when working on the north wall of the 5th floor of the building, while the guardrails were removed and no other form of fall protection was provided, such as a safety net system or personal fall arrest system.
