29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. On April 15, 2016, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 18 feet while installing metal siding materials on a newly constructed car dealership. The employees were working on the roof of the building without fall protection.
